Lois Lane is a heroine from the DC Universe and the love interest of Superman. She's a reporter of the Daily Planet, and a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist (though how she won a Pulitzer is never specified). She is the deuteragonist of the Superman franchise.
She was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, and first appeared in Action Comics # 1 in June of 1938.
She is portrayed by Amy Adams.
