Wolf 'n' Coyote is the first segment of episode three in The Looney Tunes Peanuts Show. It aired on March 23, 2016 in Cartoon Network, and on Boomerang in April 12, 2016.

Synopsis

Ralph Wolf visits Wile E. Coyote, whom he looks like, so that they can determine what they like. A determined Charlie Brown helps both of them with full glee.

Plot

Lucy sets up her infamous football prank for Charlie Brown to fall for. She calls him and Charlie Brown comes to her, knowing that she will just pull it away so that he will fall on his back and "kill" himself. However, Lucy angrily tells him that, if he doesn't kick that football, she will violently pound him. Charlie Brown, intimidated by this, has no other choice but to follow Lucy's orders but she pulls the ball away and Charlie Brown becomes a victim to this prank as usual.

After falling on his back, Charlie Brown suggests that he will just lie here and sleep. Unfortunately, this doesn't last long, being awoken by the sound of Ralph's car beeping. Wile E. Coyote, who is sleeping on his couch, also hears the beep. Thinking the sound came from the Road Runner, he runs outside to 'catch' him, but all he can find is the car. He walks over to Charlie Brown (still flat on his back) and demands him where the Road Runner is. Charlie Brown answers with "I think he's not here for today", but shortly after he says that, Ralph Wolf steps out of his car. Wile E. sees Ralph and, thinking he is an impostor (as they are identical twins), runs to him and mercilessly strangles him while furiously crying out "You look-alike, identical, imposter!!". Ralph drops half-dead on the sidewalk as a result, and the coyote realizes his mistake and attempts to revive him with CPR. When it doesn't work, he tells Charlie Brown to do it instead. Charlie gives Ralph CPR and this time, it works! Ralph regains consciousness and begins to see hallucinations of Wile E. Coyote and Charlie Brown as sheep.

Upon discovering this, he tries to eat the two but is stopped when Wile E. splashes a bucket of water on him, removing his hallucination disorder. The wolf then sees the coyote and boy in their normal forms and thanks them for getting rid of his hallucinations, and introduces himself to them. Wile apologizes to Ralph for misjudging him and introduces, "My name is Wile E. Coyote, but you can simply call me Mr. Coyote". Charlie Brown also introduces himself as well. Then Wile E. and Ralph observe each other via mirroring acts such as staring at each other, shaking their tails, and howling like a real coyote/wolf. Then they all gather inside Charlie Brown's house so that Brown can gather what prey they prefer and what they do to get them.

Charlie Brown, wielding a bar graph and pencil, lists the Road Runner in Wile E's section and sheep in Ralph's section. Then he lists the two's methods of achieving them, he lists ACME products in Wile E's section and simple contraptions in Ralph's section. Below the graph, he lists "Both fail" because of the two's results.

It is nighttime, and Ralph bids Wile goodbye. He drives away in his car, and Wile E. wishes Charlie Brown goodnight and goes home. Feeling a yawn, Charlie Brown goes to sleep.
